1953 Monark Rocket Racer
1953 Monark Rocket built into a mild custom board track racer style. The frame, strut rod fork, rear fender, tank and wheels are all original patina paint. 26" x 2.175" US Royal Chain reproduction Clay tires. Clay Elgin style grips are on reversed bars. Recovered prewar long spring saddle, w/ Lazy 7 seat post. Also includes clay/brown pedals.

2006 Felt Flyer
Felt Flyer, original flat black with white pin stripping on frame, fork, & chainguard. Felt flyer seat w/ matching pinstripe. Upgraded with Felt 55mm wide wheels also flat black and 26" x 2.125 Felt Quick Brick tires. Black beach bars w/Thompson ball end grips. One of the best riding cruisers out there.

Coast King Sky Warrior
Late 50s Huffman built, Coast King Sky Warrior. Coast King bikes were sold through Coast to Coast Hardware stores. This one was originally Radiant Red, but has sun faded to a light red/pink. It is a middleweight with 26" x 1.75" new tires. Seat has been poorly recovered but is nice vinyl and comfortable riding as is. Working headlight. New grips.

Schwinn DX Rat Rod
1951 or 52 Schwinn DX built into a Rat Rod. Frame, fork, & deluxe chainguard are all black/red/white patina. Deluxe skip tooth Schwinn Sweetheart Sprocket. Red 26" drop center rims with weathered White Wall 26" x 2.125 tires. No longer has the goose neck seat post pictured, Ape hanger bars. Perfect companion for Rat Rod Car Show. Ready to ride!

1954 Monark Rocket
1954 Monark Rocket, with older rehab, partial restoration. Mostly original 26" bike rehabed back in the mid 80s by an older gentleman/collector in the Springfield area. Frame and fork appear to be original paint and graphics. Fenders rack, chain guard & tank are all original items, but have some touchup re-paint and newer replaced graphics & pinstriping. it has good newer tires and grips. Seat has been recovered.

Early Dyno Glide
I believe this is a 1996 Dyno Glide. It has the early Dyno frame with the "D" embossed on the end of the top tube and also on both rear drop outs. It also has the earlier graphics and logo. These early Dyno's had a decal for a head badge before the metal badge came out in late '99 early 2000s. This one has an interesting and unusual flaw in that the head badge decal was installed upside down from the factory.

1974 Schwinn Continental 10 Speed
1974 Schwinn Continental 10 Speed. This bike is all original and in very excellent shape with almost no wear or signs of use. Purchased by an older gentleman to use for exercise but he had trouble riding it so put it in the barn were it sat un used for 40 years.

1951 Schwinn Straight Bar
Nice original paint Blue & white, better than average for a bike of this age. Features include, strut rod fork, working Delta Rocket Ray headlight, new blue Schwinn grips, nice no tear seat, Torrington # 10 repop pedals, Schwinn 48 tooth Sweetheart sprocket. The 26" rims are off a later 60's Schwinn Heavy Duty and have HD spokes and has a Bendix Yellow band 2 speed kick back hub, nice chrome. Tires are Schwinn Typhoon brick tread 26" x 2.125. BF Goodrich Safety team reflector. I also have a matching blue repop rear rack for it, but not shown. Just added, nice OG paint tank, tank is a little more faded than the rest of the bike. Early 50s Western Flyer
This is a real nice Late 40's to early 50s 26" Girls Western Flyer tank bike. I believe it to be a Cleveland Welding built bike. Nice blue frame w/white trim but has average to less than average amount of wear for it's age. Good Western Flyer graphics on tank. OG painted wheels w/26" tires, blue grips, strut rod fork. Ready to ride.

1945 Hawthorne Flyer Project #1
1944 - 46 Hawthorne Flyer Motobike project. First of the Balloon tire bikes. The bike is very ridable as is, or finish paint work. Frame is painted olive green primer, fork, chain guard and rack are black. Original 26" clincher rims are black with newer 26" x 2.125" cream brick tires. Seat is nicely recovered long spring saddle, Cross brace moto bars with real nice pointed white grips. OG Hawthorne snowflake sprocket and skip tooth chain.

Another 1944 - 46 Hawthorne Flyer Balloon tire Motobike. First of the 26" clincher balloon bikes. Frame and fork are red and could be OG paint but probably an older worn repaint, I can't tell for sure. OG stainless rain gutter fenders. Braced moto bars, w/ older grips. snowflake sprocket/chain ring, skip tooth chain, drop stand, newer clay brick tires 26" x 2.125". Seat is a newer replace. Bike is a good rider as is or restore to your taste.

1955 Schwinn Corvette Project
1955 Early Schwinn Corvette middleweight. Real nice original paint, dark red w/white decals. Chrome fenders are pretty good. Schwinn S7 wheels, w/2 speed manual Bendix rear hub, chrome is a little rusty. Tires have been replaced and hold air, but are non Schwinn tread. I don't think the seat is original nor is the white handlebar tape. Very nice original paint bike that just needs a little cleaning and TLC to be great!

Beautiful original paint 1950 Western Flyer
This is an extremely nice 1950 CWC built Western Flyer step through. The paint and chrome are unbelivable for a 60+ year old bike. There are only a few scratches and minor dings. Features include tank w/ cool graphics, rare crash guard shaped struts, nice rear rack, twisted heart chain ring and even the working Red, White, & Blue Delta Rocket Ray is still attached. The bars have been replaced as well as the grips w/ dark blue NOS Hunt Wilde. Seat has been recovered, it still has the original 26" x 2.125" Western Auto Davis Deluxe white wall tires in pretty good shape but showing a few cracks (will replace with NEW ww tires if you plan to ride it much)

Dyno Moto Glide
This is a flawless Dyno Moto Glide purple w/silver smoke flame graphic paint. Smoke flame Dyno seat not cracks or tears. Silver Dyno D grips. 4 speed Nexus rear hub in 24" wheel w/ 24" x 3" tire, front wheel is 26" x 2.215" the white wall tires were added for the look and are not stock, but I do have the original Fireball tires, your choice. Schwinn Continental
1975 Schwinn Continental 10 speed. This bike is in excellent shape and appears to have been ridden very little. The Yellow paint is perfect, as are the black lettering, chrome is excellent as well. Tires appear to be new 27" X 1 1/4 hi-pressure showing no wear. This bike is as nice as the day it was sold at Lawrence Cycle 40 yrs ago, ready to ride and enjoy.

Hawthorne Zephyr Rat
It is a 1949 Hawthorne Zephyr Rat Build. Tank is original paint with lots of fade and patina especially on the left side. Frame is faux painted brown, as is the Glide Ride fork adapted from a girls bike. Wheels are newer flat black Electra/Dyno style, tires are Duro 26 x 2.125 Brick. Pedals are re-pop Torrington #10 w/brick blocks, grips are Memory Lane Brick. Seat worn leather re-covered. Chain Guard is original paint brown & tan. I also have a set of original paint brown fenders I will throw in the deal if you are wanting to go for a more original look.

Schwinn Cruiser Classic
1995 Schwinn Cruiser Classic 26" bike. This is one from the 100th anniversary collection of bikes built in 1995 to celibrate 100 years of Schwinn. It features a springer fork and knobby beach balloon tires. Chrome ape hangers have been added but can put the original bars back on if you prefer The bike is ready to ride and enjoy as is or great blank slate for a custom build.

1954 Schwinn Spitfire
This is a very well preserved Girls Schwinn Spitfire from 1954 (sn# L70754, July 24th '54). It has the original green paint with some but few chips and fading for it age. It has new tires, tubes, the front wheel has been replaced and it has been completely cleaned, lubed and serviced is ready to ride. The seat has been professionally recovered and the rear rack shown has been removed an not included w/ the bike.

1948 Firestone Pilot (Tiger Fighter Pilot)
This is a 1948 Huffman built Firestone Pilot. The frame, fork, fenders & rear rack are all original paint brown & tan. The Tiger fighter pilot tank came from a swapmeet and is not original to the bike but fit the Pilot theme. Original Delta torpedo light was faux painted to match, as was the chain guard. Seat & grips are tan. Wheels are original paint drop center with brown 26" x 2.25 Continental Retro Ride tires.

Dyno Von Franko Taboo Tiki
This is a Limited edition Von Franklo designed Taboo Tiki Dyno Cruiser. Tank and graghics are in great shape. Original green paint on frame is mostly good, but does have several chips and scratches from use. Seat is original and in pretty good shape, has one very small tear. Dyno Super Slicks and original orange wheels are good. Bars are Dyno "D" stamped. The grips have been replaced with Dyno style knock offs, and I believe the black chain ring may have been replaced. Tiki light on fender works.

1934 Schwinn Admiral B10 moto bike
This is a 1934 Schwinn Admiral moto bike, one of the very first balloon tire bikes, and one of the last of the moto frame style. It is set up as a B9, but was probably a B10 since it came with the rear rack and chain guard that I have, just needs the tool box tank to complete the B10 package. The bike is a resto mod, it has been repainted Black & Red Urethane, the bars, stem and struts in satin nickle. The wheels are newer Worksman 26" with a rounded profile to look era correct. Tires are giant 26" x 2.35 cream Electra Vintage Diamond balloons. It has a real nice set of original stainless "rain gutter" fenders, the original skip tooth sweatheart chainring. Original Torrinton #10 pedals. The seat is a very nice recovered Mesinger long spring. Grips Memory Lane re-pop. 10~18 Kustoms: $SOLD
1937 Hawthorne Zep
This a 1937 Hawthorne Zep original paint frame, fork, fenders, and drop center rims. (Technically not a Zep since it doesn’t have a tank and no wear signs either but I can’t remember what the non tank version was called). Rack and chain guard came with the bike and are era correct but not sure if original to the bike. Working front load headlight added by me as well as repop cross brace bars and grips. Pedals are are jeweled Torrington’s (not repops). Seat is 40’s era recovered. Tires are original US Royal Chain, nice ridable with only small cracking.

1979 Schwinn Spitfire 5
Very rare one year only in 1979 Schwinn Spitfire 5 w/Atom hub rear brake. About everything is original on this bike except the stem and tires have been replaced, and I also think the brake cables have been replaced since they are grey and probably should have been black. The tires are not original to this bike but are era correct Schwinn Cruiser script Duro's. The Spitfire coaster single speed was avalible in '77 & '78 then in '79 they also added the Spitfire 5 after seeing what the Klunker croud was doing. In '80 they changed the name to Cruiser & Cruiser 5 and continued that name till the early 90's. The bike is showing a little wear but better than average for its age. It is in good rideable shape, but could use some additional cleaning and service to be exceptional.

Schwinn Cruiser 5
All original 1985 Schwinn Cruiser 5. This one still even has the cheezy beach bar style foam and grips in pretty good shape, one side a little tore up. The Viscount cruiser seat is also real good. Tires are nobby 26 x 2.125 white wall, probably original. The black paint and decals have a few chips but much nicer than usual for the age. Shifts great and stops good for OG pads, ready to ride.

This is a 1955 Huffy Dial Your Ride Rat. Frame, fork, tank & guard are original paint & patina. The bars, grips & stem are newer. Wheels are new 24” w/Felt Thick Bricks. Front wheel has a drum brake, but not hooked up. The square fork shroud has been removed but I have it and will include it but the headlight tab is broke off.

1981 Vintage Mongoose BMX
All original 1981 Mongoose BMX ID# K1o90923. Chrome Molly Competition racing frame made in Chatsworth, CA USA. original paint, and decals. Skyway Tuff Wheels serial numbered. Mongoose seat, minor tear on left side. Bars are slightly bent, and left grip is missing the end. Even has original tires, the front still has lots of tread, but showing some minor cracking, the rear is pretty worn down, but both hold air and ride great! More pictures available.

The frame and fork are original paint black and white 1951 DX. The stem, crank and chain ring are all original rust, and the Long horn bars are Torrington and came off an old Elgin but are the same rusty patina. Seat is ratty but comfortable. Grips are era correct Schwinn script, and the pedals are Torrington #8s. The tires are new Cream Continental Retro Ride 26" x 2.3" and the rims are 2006 Felt Flyer skip tooth conversion coaster brake.

1948 Monark Super Deluxe
1948 Monark Super Deluxe Restored back in the 90's by an auto shop in Independance MO. for the collector Victor Agnue. Paint and graphics are still in very good shape and color is good, but there are a few very minor scratches from moving around over the years. Original Super Deluxe seat, very nice pedistal light, horn tank, cheese grater rear rack, Monark double springer fork, '48 only rear bumper, tear drop taillight, all correct for this year. 1946 Schwinn Built B.F.Goodrich B6
Schwinn built B6. Just like a Phantom but earlier and badged B.F. Goodrich. It is a J serial # bike that once had a tapered kickstand so I think it is 1946. I believe the frame may have been re-painted at some point way back because it has no darts, or that was an early thing? The rear rack, chainguard & tank all appear to be original paint. The fenders have a light coat of surface rust, but are straight and solid. The seat has been recovered since this picture.

Columbia Fire Arrow
Rare 1962 Columbia Fire Arrow Candy red and white two-tone with chrome front and rear racks and unusual peaked fenders. Overall pretty good paint condition w/some chips, chrome is mostly very good. A scarce bike, hard to find in good shape. Has the Ding Dog bell tank with dual working headlights (the switch is a little flaky) The bike even has the original Columbia grips, but most of the white script is wore off. The bendix rear hub as well as the front hub and all bearings have been rebuilt and new lube. The pedals and tires are about all that is not original (Schwinn waffle pedals and new 26" x 1.75 whitewalls).

Newsboy Special Kustom (Thunderbolt)
This is a 1963 Columbia built Western Flyer Newsboy Special. It is the same unique frame with the built in rear rack as the Thunderbolt middleweight of the early sixtys but is the balloon tire version. The bike is painted satin black, with a recovered Troxel seat. It has dark red Felt 26" x 55mm super wide wheels w/ white GT Goodyear tread tires. Matching black moon beach bars w/ red grips. 1969 - 24" Sears Spyder 5 Speed
Back up for sale and price lowered! Almost 100% original Sears 5 Speed Spyder bike. It is a 24" muscle bike from the late 60's with console style shifter. It has a cool Spaceliner style frame, I would call the color Fuschia, it is showing some sun fade and scratches. Matching Fuschia glitter seat, no tears, but missing a few stitches. The chrome on the chainguard and wheels is pretty good, but is spotted and flaking pretty bad on the handlebars. Tires are the original red line, Bridgstone on the front, and Sears on the back. Rides and shifts great.

Early 50's Hawthorne 26" step through
H.P. Snyder built Hawthorne bike for Montgomery Wards. The bike has nice original Emerald Green paint with less than usual scratches and chips for it's age, good white graphics. Seat is a Troxel in good shape with a small patch of the vinyl missing off the back, fairly rusty frame. The bike features a rare sealed beam light with struts molded to form around it. Tank and horn w/ very clean 6 volt battery holder. Was told this was a Korean War era built bike so much of what would be chrome was cadmium plated. New departure hubs w/ model D on the rear in cadmium w/ nickel rims. New white wall tires, tubes & rims. Cleaned, serviced and ready to ride.

1953 Schwinn Spitfire 20" DX
This is a real nice mostly original 20" DX balloon tire bike. The Spitfire red paint is in pretty good shape but is showing plenty of chips, (more on the fenders than the frame) white stingers are original. The chain guard is a correct NOS matching guard. It has skip tooth sprocket and rebuilt New Departure modle D rear hub, Schwinn script front hub on 20" S2 rims w/new 20 x 2.125 balloon tires. The struts are newer Electra cut down to fit, grips are 3 1/2" coke bottle type. The seat is the worst part with the top all cracked and missing chunks and one of the behive springs is broke. Cute little guy, just needs a new seat and ready for your kid or grand kid to get into the vintage bike hobby.

J. C. Higgins Color Flow Deluxe Step through
Late 40's or early 50's girls Color Flow. Original blue and silver two tone paint. Color Flow rear rack with the glass reflectors, skirt guards, bee hive springer fork, original seat and Higgins script Torrington pedals. Grips replaced with Hunt Wilde tan, headlights are Delta Wren repos faux painted to match the patina of the bike. 1917-20 Henderson Admiral Barn find
As best I can tell this is a 1917 - 1920 Henderson Admiral. Schwinn bought Henderson in 1917 and used their name on bikes till 1920. This bike head badge reads Henderson Admiral by Schwinn. The frame has a slight dent in the lower cross bar, and the fork is bent a little. Metal wood clad wheels pretty fare, but w/ rusty spokes, and single tube tire on back is hard as a rock and won't hold air.

GT Dyno Moon Cruiser
This is a well worn Moon Equipment bike made by Dyno in about 1999. It is missing the chainguard, and has the wrong seat. The Dyno Super Slick tires/wheels, fork & bars are all in great shape. The frame and fenders are showing some chips and scratches but no dents. The sprocket has some surface rust spots. This is an excellent rider, great for cruising at carshows etc.

Roadmaster Pleasure Liner or Jet Pilot project
This is a 1957 Roadmaster Pleasure Liner men's 26". The paint is fair at best, and could use touch up or redone. Chrome is pretty good but in need of cleaning. This is a nice starter project since most of the hard to find parts are here. Jet Pilot "backbone" tank w/ light & horn, missing plastic lens. Chrome chainguard w/ real cool 3 Jet fighter graphics, very rare Star sprocket w/green & red reflectors. Rare Jet Pilot shaped seat, cover is trashed. Missing the rear rack, and one pedal. Early '60s Roadmaster Skyrider Deluxe. Everything original except the new red grips. Nice original red paint, has a few scratches and chips but not bad for its age. White graphics are in good shape not all faded and chipped. Very good chrome on the peaked fenders and wheels etc. Tires are a bit worn and showing some cracking, but probably the original and still very rideable. Head light works good has the plastic lens, there is no rust in the battery area, a little of the plastic chrome is chipping off. Seat is original but has some stitches missing and a few cracks.

1960 Murray Fleetline
Murray Fleetline 1960: Same bike as the 50th Anv. Golden Flyer but the Murray version. Red frame with chrome fenders, chain guard and tank w/ twin bug eye headlights. The chrome is flaking on the front fender in a few places, but pretty good on the rear, tank and chain guard. It has a very cool rat trap springer fork w/ crash guards. Chrome tank with working headlights and horn, the battery holders and some of the wiring have been replaced. It also has the original working rear tail light, but the lens has been replaced. Bars are pullback w/ great chrome & white bullet grips. Seat is white w/ red trim. Tires are new 26" X 2.125 w/ new tubes and rim strips.

1959 Schwinn Tornado 20": original red paint w/white trim, original chain guard, Schwinn script banna seat, new rear cheater slick, new brick tread front tire, new stingray style ape handlebars w/red grips, all mechanics rebuilt. Kool double straight bar frame, this is the "older brother" to the Stingray.

Hornet "Manta Ray"
1963 24" Schwinn Hornet: Original black paint on frame and chain guard. From there it has been done like a big Stingray or Manta Ray. New apes, extended length seat, Schwinn Stingray sissy bar & seat tube. New 24" X 2.125 rear White Wall cheater slick, and front WW 24" X 2.125. Also come with the original Hornet fenders, seat, and bars for anyone wanting to take it back to stock.

Western Flyer Hi-Low
1965 Western Flyer "Hi-Low": This is a very unusual bicycle that can be split in half. The predecessor to the modern folding bike. I'm told these bikes were made to come apart so they could be taken on the bus. This one has had a 2 speed kick back Schwinn 3 blue band rear hub and rim w/ BMX style tire added. Hub works great.
